The first daughter of fashion!

Tiffany Trump looks to be following the fashionable footsteps of both her step-sister Ivanka and her step-mother Melania, after making her runway debut at New York Fashion Week.

On a long weekend away from the University of Pennsylvania, where she is currently a senior, the 22-year-old visited the city that never sleeps to strut her stuff on the catwalk, modeling a friend's fashion designs alongside her fellow socialite Kyra Kennedy.
The leggy blonde blended right in with the other models at the Just Drew show, looking totally calm and confident on the catwalk at the Valentine's Day event.

Tiffany made just one appearance on the runway, wearing her blonde hair pulled back to show off a shiny blue tuxedo dress, under which she wore black tights and chunky black booties.
Her natural abilities on the catwalk will come as no surprise to anyone who knows her family history well; both Tiffany's step-sister Ivanka, and her step-mother Melania, have modeled in the past, with Ivanka strutting her stuff in a number of catwalk shows when she was between the ages of 17 and 18.
Ivanka walked in shows during Sydney and New York Fashion Weeks in 1999, strutting her stuff for the likes of Maurice Malone and Wayne Cooper.
Unsurprisingly, Tiffany couldn't wait to share the excitement of walking her first show, and she proudly posted a video of her big moment on Instagram, while her mom, 52-year-old Marla Maples, shared a selfie with Lance Bass as the pair sat in the front row.

While Tiffany's mom was there to show her support, though, the rest of the family was out of town: Big sister Ivanka was in New Jersey enjoying cookies and go-karts with her husband Jared Kushner and their kids, Arabella and Joseph, and her dad Donald was out on the campaign trail in South Carolina.

From fashion PR to fashion pro

WHEN she was 20, Scots fashion graduate Emma Greenhill put on her brightest red lipstick and set off to hawk her wares round the fashion houses of Paris.

She had no idea that one day she would be designing scarves for celebrities including Tilda Swinton, Alexa Chung, Erin O’Connor, Fran Cutler, Laura Bailey and Jade Parfitt.

Emma, now 47, made her name in as a PR specialist and creative director for top brands including Chalayan, Gibo, Hockley, John Galliano, Luella, Julien Macdonald and Karl Lagerfeld.

But with the encouragement of her designer friends Julie Verhoeven and Hussein Chalayan, who she met while working for John Galliano, Emma has gone back to her roots and has just created her own accessories collection.

She said: “I was interested in fashion from really early on, since I was about seven. I was always dressing up and drawing and just loved it.

She added: “I loved the art room at school and I wasn’t the brightest spark, so I was encouraged to go and do an arts degree. I graduated from uni in 1992 after studying fashion and textiles at Brighton University.”

After being left £500 by her uncle, Emma told her mum and dad she was going to Paris to work for a design house. This was before the days of the internet and mobile phones and Emma’s family thought she was crazy.

She explained: “It was bonkers because I had no connections there. I took the plane from Glasgow to Paris and stayed in a dodgy hotel before finding somewhere to live that was cheap and cheerful.

Maria Aristidou Talks Fashion

I had the opportunity to sit down with Maria Aristidou, the Greek fashion designer. Her answers to my questions about her 'inspiration' were most interesting. Essentially, her inspiration is drawn from living life and especially from new experiences. She translates these experiences into mental images, a kind of 'learning process.' This learning process forms the basis of her inspiration. She then translates this inspiration into palpable designs.

How did you get into fashion design?

When I was 16-17 years old, I had an uncle that owned a clothing production plant. He happened to see my sketches one day and he mentioned that I should pursue fashion design. It was the first confirmation from someone that I might have talent and that I should endeavor to develop it. Unfortunately, since in high-school I was an economics major, I did not have the prerequisites to enter a fashion design school, thus, I followed studies in Business Commerce. However, that did not stop me. Throughout my University years I kept sketching non-stop, making small costumes for a dancer friend in Toronto.

Did you want to become a fashion designer when you were young?

I was playing with Barbies till I was 12-13 years old, choosing and making outfits for them. Back then we did not have access to technology like children have nowadays. Things were more simple back then. But I have to say that one person that influenced me just because he had his personal tailor, shoe designer and always dressed to the T, was my grandfather as well as my grandmother's sister who was a seamstress. For a short period of time I wanted to be a journalist. That faded out, and I just started sketching women's clothes. So I guess fashion designing one way or another was trying to get out.

It's My Wedding

Everyone started being honest with me on my choice of bridesmaids, the location, the travel to said venue, my other guests, the food, the plan for speeches. In fact, my friends have been incredibly honest about every decision we are making - and I am here to say, with the upmost love, stop.

My partner and I have been to so many weddings our friends take the piss. If I can't do something, their initial reaction is 'do you have a wedding/ hen do/ engagement party?' We must be great guests. We treat every wedding as a blessing to be invited. To us, watching someone say 'I DO' is the greatest accolade given as a friend.

So, after being a bridesmaid twice this year alone, I was overwhelmed when my boyfriend popped the question - and boy did he do it good. My best mate Kelly had cinema tickets to The Art House in Crouch End. We rocked up after brunch and sat down to watch a film about a dying girl.

I want you to lie to me. And I want you to lie GOOD. I want you to pretend you love everyone in the bridal party, as I have done to friends countless times. I want you to lie to me about our choice of venue, or how long it took you to get there. I want you to practice, 'it took us a couple of hours, but the journey was lovely, its so beautiful. I actually appreciated the length of time.' gush, gush, gush, gush...

Britain's Got Glamour!

They always bring the glam factor to the Britain's Got Talent judging panel.
And Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon ensured they lived up to their sartorially-skilled reputations as they graced the red carpet at the Pride Of Britain Awards in London on Monday night.

The 44-year-old actress took the plunge in a low-cut crimson gown while singer and TV personality Alesha, 36, flaunted her entire back in a cut-away black gown.

With Alesha Dixon confirming the fabulous foursome will be returning to Britain's Got Talent next year, we are already excited for what her and Amanda will bring to the table in terms of fashion - we do love to watch the lovely ladies dressed in their finest.
For the red carpet here at the Pride of Britain Awards, both women were on top form as they made their way inside. Amanda looked gorgeous in a floor-sweeping, plunging red dress by Basil Soda which was from the autumn/winter 2015 collection. With one strap and one draped short sleeve, the asymmetric design really made the dress for us, along with the plunging front that added serious sex appeal and we applaud her stylist Angie Smith for the savvy selection.

The Wild At Heart star proved that diamond's truly are a girl's best friend as she was draped in jewels including a dangling pendant, which hung between her bare chest with a matching bracelet adorned with rubies in a diamond frame.
Amanda's hair was slicked into a chic, dramatic side parting and pulled back into an elegant chignon.

Nicky Hilton on Her Valentino Wedding Dress: It Was "Magnificent"

A look for the ages! Nicky Hilton opened up about her picturesque London wedding to banking heir James Rothschild during an interview with HuffPost Live on Wednesday, Sept. 16 — and couldn’t help waxing nostalgic about her memorable wedding gown.
“I knew in my mind that I really wanted to do something traditional, just classic, and white lace, and beautiful,” she said of her epic Valentino gown. “I worked closely with them and they created the most magnificent dress that I’ve ever worn and ever will wear.”

The 31-year-old designer exchanged vows with Rothschild on July 10 at Kensington Palace, and Hilton’s breathtaking look was nothing short of regal.
Her dress featured a high neck, long sleeves, 10-foot train, and delicately embroidered veil.

“We had two or three design meetings before I tried anything on,” Hilton continued, adding that her parents flew out to London to help her with arrangements. “It was really sweet.”
When asked which historic figure has inspired her — for her wedding dress and otherwise — Hilton had an answer at the ready.

“Grace Kelly,” she said. “I love Grace Kelly. She can do no wrong.”
In addition to her famous older sister Paris, Nicky’s star-studded wedding also included famous faces such as Chelsea Clinton and Kate Beckinsale.

The 365 Style author got engaged to Rothschild in August 2014, when the pair were on vacation together in Lake Como, Italy. They originally met at Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt’s wedding in 2011.
Nicky was previously married to Todd Meister in 2004, but the couple got an annulment three months later due to the stressful nature of their bicoastal relationship.

Fashion show benefits Tu Nidito

Philanthropic fashionistas take note: For those who can’t go to New York Fashion Week, Laura DiChristofano, Cathy Hutchens, Shelly Stewart and a handful of other members of the Tucson Ladies Council are bringing the runway to you.

They’re hosting The Fashion Show — A Decade — Ten Years of Giving in Style to benefit Tu Nidito Children & Family Services on Sept. 26 at Casino Del Sol Resort.

DiChristofano said the fundraiser — which has raised almost $1 million for Tu Nidito — will showcase couture, designers and supporters from the past decade. The runway show will also incorporate fashion forecasts for fall and 2016 from Tucson boutiques and hot new designers, culminating in 16 trending looks by Daniel Esquivel of the TV show “Project Runway.”

DiChristofano said the event will feature state-of-the-art lighting, staging, audio and video, providing an opportunity for those who enjoy contemporary and designer style. The self-proclaimed fashionista said the event seeks to promote awareness about Tu Nidito and provide a way to give back to the community.

“I also think it helps to put Tucson on the fashion map with Daniel Esquivel and other designers from Los Angeles. It lets them know that we do care about fashion and that Tucson is a fashionable city, so it can only help us to bring better retail and design here. We have people in Tucson who want high-end fashion, not just in Phoenix,” said DiChristofano.
